Beginning in 1973, she and her husband shared a lifelong passion for square dancing, traveling throughout the United States for more than 50 years, visiting all seven continents. She was active in her Catholic faith, serving in many church roles.  She was a founding member of the Ward Six Fire Protection and served for many years as an active member of the fire department.
