Sara Judson, President and CEO
Sara joined the Community Foundation as the CEO in December 2013.
A fourth-generation Lake Charles resident, she has a deep love for her hometown. She volunteers with the Junior League of Lake Charles, where she was honored as Sustainer of the Year in 2013, and finds great joy in serving as a second-grade reading tutor at Oak Park Elementary School.
She and her husband, Mark, love spending time with their daughter, Rachel, and are actively involved in First Presbyterian Church and many other community projects.
Debra Vaughan, admin/donor operations coordinator
With the Community Foundation since 2009, Debra previously served as an Executive Assistant and Medical Staff Coordinator at Women and Children's Hospital, where she worked for over 13 years.
A native of Sulphur, she is married and has three grown children, as well as one absolutely precious grandson.
Jill Galmarini, Director of Civic Initiatives
Jill joined the Foundation in June 2021.
Originally from Whitehouse, Ohio, her first job was with the American Red Cross in nearby Toledo. At one point in her career, she worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Charleston, South Carolina, and ran an organization called ThinkTEC, which was tasked with building the city’s tech industry.
Jill Galmarini and her family moved to Lake Charles in late 2018 after her husband accepted a position at McNeese University. Jill and her husband are the proud parents of two children, Katie and Riley. Jill can often be found cheering on Riley as he plays basketball for Barbe High School—Go Bucs!
