AMERISAFE COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP

Each year, the AMERISAFE Community Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is pursuing higher education at either a two-year or four-year institution.   

Criteria: 

  1. Pursuing a college degree in either a two- or four-year program, beginning in the fall after graduation

  2. Is a high school senior in Beauregard or Vernon Parishes

  3. Minimum 3.0 GPA in high school

  4. Plan to study in one of the following areas: Business; Communications; Computer Science & Math; Engineering; English; and Social Sciences & Law

  5. May not be a child, stepchild, grandchild, or legal guardian of an AMERISAFE employee or board member

Award: $500 per semester for a total of $2,000 for a 2-year program, or $4,000 for a 4-year program.
Application deadline: March 17, 2024  
Notification date: At a graduation-related event.
