Kathryn W. Miree is President of Kathryn W. Miree & Associates, Inc.  She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her law degree from The University of Alabama School of Law.  She spent 15 years in various positions in the Trust Division of AmSouth Bank before joining Sterne, Agee & Leach to establish its trust company and serve as its President & CEO.

Ms. Miree is past president of the National Committee on Planned Giving, the Alabama Planned Giving Council, Estate Planning council of Birmingham, the Alabama Bankers Association Trust Division.  She has also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Miami Law School.
